X12 EDI Utility Description
People who handle numerous standardized forms that range from eligibility inquiry to remittance advice and health care claims, could require a way of displaying them correctly.
X12 EDI Utility is an application that will allow users to view and print the contents of standard ANSI files. It will offer users an easy way of previewing and printing X12 270,271,837,277,276,835,864 and 997 files.
Featuring a tabbed interface, the application will list all the contents of X12 files, their internal tables and the corresponding fields and data type. One will be able to load and view X12 or HL7 files and the utility will provide a dedicated information reader. This module will offer people a summary of the X12 file contents: batches, claims, remittances, service lines count, etc.
The contents of each table can be previewed and when selecting the different fields, users will be able to view their data type. A custom folder for user data can be established and people will be able to scan it in order to keep the utility up to date with its contents.
In addition to its X12 file viewing capabilities, X12 EDI Utility also provides a CSV file viewer for those who rely on external applications. Each transaction that is contained within the X12 file is disseminated by the utility and users are able to access each of the standard transactions by clicking the corresponding button.
