✅ 1. Download and Install

• Download the ZIP package (no installer needed).
• Extract the contents to any folder — it’s portable, so no installation required.
• Run xmplay.exe.

▶️ Basic Usage

✅ 2. Open Audio Files

• Drag and drop files or folders onto the player window.
• Or use:
  • Right-click → Add files / Add folder
  • Or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+F to add files.

✅ 3. Playback Controls

• Play/Pause: Click play button or press Spacebar
• Next/Previous: Click arrow buttons or press Page Up / Page Down
• Stop: Press S
• Seek: Drag the progress bar
• Volume: Scroll the mouse wheel or drag the volume slider

🛠️ Advanced Features

✅ 4. Playlists

• Press L or click the playlist button to open the playlist.
• Drag files into it or use Right-click → Add files.
• You can save/load playlists as .pls or .m3u.

✅ 5. Equalizer

• Click the EQ button to open the equalizer.
• Adjust sliders or enable presets (right-click the EQ).

✅ 6. DSP & Plugins

• Go to Options (right-click) → DSP or Plugins
• Add Winamp DSP plugins or native XMPlay plugins.

✅ 7. Internet Radio Streaming

• Right-click → Add URL (or press Ctrl+U)
• Paste a stream URL (Shoutcast, Icecast, etc.) and hit OK.

✅ 8. Skins

• Supports user-made skins. Download from:
  • https://support.xmplay.com/skins.php
• Extract the .xmpskin or .zip skin file into the Skins folder, then right-click → Options and Stuff → Skin.

• Output: Choose between DirectSound, WASAPI, or ASIO
• Library: Automatically scan and catalog music
• Integration: Set file associations
