PotPlayer is a powerful, lightweight, and highly customizable media player for Windows. It supports a wide range of video and audio formats and offers advanced features. Here’s a guide on how to use PotPlayer:


1. Download and Install PotPlayer

  • Official Site: https://potplayer.daum.net/
  • Download the latest version (32-bit or 64-bit based on your system).
  • Follow the installation instructions. During setup, decline any third-party software offers.

2. Basic Playback

a. Open Media Files

  • Drag and drop a video or audio file into the PotPlayer window.
  • Or go to:
    • Right-clickOpen File(s) (or press F3) to choose a file.
    • Open > Open Folder or Open > Open URL for streaming.

b. Playback Controls

  • Spacebar: Play/Pause
  • Left/Right Arrow: Seek backward/forward
  • Up/Down Arrow: Volume up/down
  • Z/X/C: Change playback speed
  • Enter: Toggle full screen
  • ESC: Exit full screen

3. Subtitles

a. Load Subtitles
