StarWars Music Player Description

Now that the series has been revived, Star Wars-related merchandise seems to be popping up everywhere, and even themed applications are available for fans of the franchise.

StarWars Music Player is one of these programs, as it features a minimalistic interface that includes some specific elements, and it can be used to play MP3 audio files. However, it offers a very limited array of functions and needs to be improved in many respects.

Basic music player that lacks many useful features

Essentially, this application only allows you to import MP3 audio files, play them sequentially, skip tracks and change the sound volume. No other features are available, and no other file formats are supported.

For instance, you cannot create playlists, shuffle tracks or change the song order. Also, other than the file name, no information is displayed about the added tracks.

While a lightweight music player can come in very handy, even the most minimalistic application designed for this purpose needs to include a few more features.

Cumbersome audio player that needs some major improvements

It is not possible to import new files using drag and drop actions, and the application does not allow you to add an entire folder at once. Also, you cannot remove individual tracks, as you only have the option of clearing the entire playlist.

The program is sent to the system tray when you attempt to close it, but there is no way to shut it down, other than by terminating it from the Task Manager.

Furthermore, the interface is not particularly impressive, as only the two Star Wars logos make it stand out. Also, the application window cannot be resized.

Badly-designed program that is not likely to replace your current audio player

When it comes down to it, there is no good reason to try StarWars Music Player at present, even if you are a big fan of the series. It lacks many features that are normally considered essential, and its overall design needs a lot more polish.
