Squadra is small utility designed as a visual aid that helps you draw perpendicular lines and 90 degrees angles.
Modern and practical interface
The interface of the application consists of the actual triangle-shaped instrument used to draw flawless angles and straight lines. The tool is set to be displayed on top of other programs, so it can come in handy when you are working on a building plan or when you want to make scale measurement for blueprints, for instance.
On a side note, the app also includes a context menu that enables you to configure the measurement utensil. More exactly, you can alter the size, rotation, when you are using the right-angle ruler, and opacity, so that it does not distract you from your work.
At the same time, the program allows you to lock the measurement tool on the screen, a function that can be handy when you are working on a building line and need to draw lines or measure angles.
Comes with a customizable measurement tool
The measurement utensil can be moved around using hotkey combinations, which you can preview by accessing the Help menu. In addition, it can take the shape of a circle, X circle or a set-square and you can select your favorite color for it.
While you have dozens of default colors to choose from, you can also create your own custom color, an option that can be useful when working on a background of a similar color.
