SpotlightPicView Description

Windows 10 comes with a nifty feature called Spotlight, which, if enabled, displays a series of stunning lock screen photos on your PC. If you give them a thumbs up, you are more likely to see similar pictures in the future, while a thumbs down causes the image to be eliminated.

SpotlightPicView is a useful app designed to help you view all the Spotlight pictures cached on your hard drive, as well as save them to any other location.

Finds and displays all cached Spotlight images

Normally, the pictures Windows saves locally are stored in an obscure folder, are given unintelligible names and do not have any extensions. This makes finding them very difficult, and they have to be renamed if you want to use them as desktop backgrounds.

SpotlightPicView performs this task automatically, making it very simple to view these pictures and save them anywhere else on your PC.

View Spotlight photos and export them

The application displays a list of thumbnails as soon at is it launched, along with each picture’s resolution.

You can double-click any item to view the photo in your default image viewer, or just save them on your hard drive. However, it is not possible to select multiple pictures and export them all at once.

Lightweight and portable tool for saving Spotlight images

SpotlightPicView does not install anything on your PC, as you only need to unpack the executable file and launch it, from any location. As a result, it can be deployed on any Windows 10 machine in no time, used to save Spotlight pictures, and then simply deleted when the job is done.

All in all, this is a small, portable utility that enables you to view all the Windows 10 Spotlight images cached on your PC and save them anywhere else on the hard drive. It features a minimalistic interface and is very easy to use, although it is a shame that it does not allow you to export multiple pictures at once.
