Saladin is an open-source software utility whose purpose is to aid you in managing your files and directories in an efficient fashion.
Simple setup and clear-cut interface
The installation process is a piece of cake, as it does not offer to download any kind of third-party product and it is over in a jiffy. After completing it, you come face to face with an orthodox interface, as it consist of two panes, placed side-by-side and several buttons. In addition to that, it contains extensive Help contents, thus making sure that all user categories can find their way around it with ease.
Options to tweak with
This application enables you to perform usual management operations, such as copying, cutting, pasting, moving, renaming, deleting and open files in the built-in viewer. In addition to that, you can easily access the command line, create new directories or file and clone an item in the source directory
It is also possible to archive any number of files to a ZIP and connect to an FTP server, by inputting the host, port, path and credentials (optionally). You can compare folders and files with just a click of the button, while you can also use a complex search function. Bookmarks can be added and managed with ease, and you can refresh both panes, with just a click of the button.
