FlowHeater Description
FlowHeater is an application that enables you to interconnect numerous data sources using exchangeable functions that act as readers from and writers to an internal format.
Complex and detailed interface
The interface is not very intuitive and, if you are a first-time user, you can take the time to watch the video tutorial about how to process various types of file formats. You can also use the included samples to get an idea about the app’s functionality.
The UI is composed of a main panel whose role is to display how the transformation of data is performed. More exactly, you can view the paths, arithmetic calculations as well as dates and times for each operation, for instance.
Alongside the path panel, you can view two smaller sections, dubbed Read and Write. As their names suggest, these panels display information regarding the type of data you selected for reading and respectively, for the new format the data is converted to.
Addresses advanced users
Once you set the parameters, the app exports the data from the specified source, interprets the values and determines how to export the data in the new format. Afterwards, it saves the results in a file that you can access via the desired program.
It is worth mentioning that the application works with a plethora of adaptor readers and writers, such as text files, Oracle databases, MySQL, XLS, XML, ODBC Datenquellen or NET DataTable for example.
