AuCalc Description

Adequately managing expenses and incomes is vital for any household in today’s highly dynamic society. With the use of a digital personal accountant, not only can one avoid useless spending, but it also creates the possibility of redirecting funds towards savings accounts. AuCalc is one such utility that can be employed to keep track of both expenses and revenues of a personal nature.

Record expenses and incomes

The program is highly intuitive and requires no special knowledge on the users’ part. This being said, as with most data recording applications, one does have to provide financial information. A somewhat significant limitation is the lack of an ‘import data’ option, which means users will have to manually insert their incomes and payments information.

As the previous paragraph hints, the essential data one has to insert is related to the basic accounting parameters – debit and credit. As such, users are prompted to load either earnings or payments and one of the great features of this application is the ability to automatically compute the balance of the account, based on the input information.

Generate trend line graphs and pie charts

Data entry requires only that figures are inserted, with a corresponding date and a textual description and this is the case for both expense and revenue items. Based on these figures an account balance is computed and displayed in the main window. Also, the application generates daily or monthly trend line graphs and simple pie charts are also created from the input data.

A detailed ‘assets recorder’ is also available for wealth management and supported categories include “Gold”, “Cash”, “Deposit”, “Property”, “Art”, and “Other”. A time management tab allows users to monitor recurring activities and, once satisfied with the results, prints jobs can be issued.

A simple utility for monitoring the personal financial data

To conclude, AuCalc is a valuable tool for anyone who wishes to keep better track of all incomes and expenses. It is ideal for simple, personal tasks and the graphs it automatically generates are highly informative methods of presenting personal financial information.
