Artisan helps coffee roasters adjust and configure coffee flavors and get detailed data on the roasting process and more. It comes with the option of creating multiple roasting profiles and read data from them.

The application doesn’t take long to install and you won’t need to complete a complicated setup before you can use it. Artisan comes with lots of instructions, in case you would need some tips on how to use it for monitoring the roasting process.

Create and configure roasting profiles
Artisan can automate the creation of roasting metrics and data, which are part of the decision-making process that results in the final coffee flavor. However, this feature is available only when Artisan is used in conjunction with a thermocouple data logger or a PID controller (proportional–integral–derivative controller).
It comes with Fahrenheit and Celsius display together with conversion, manual logging of extra events and large buttons for supporting touch panels.

In addition, it has a metric and thermal head-up-display predicting the ET/BT future logging and rate-of-rise curves with filter. Profile statistics and evaluations are available and they’re based on user configurable roast phases.
Moreover, it has background reference profiles, user defined cup profiles and cup profile graphs. You can adjust the acidity, after taste, fragrance, sweetness, aroma, balance, body and more.
