Zapya PC Description
The cable – what was once the norm when it came to transferring files between devices or for charging them is now slowly but surely becoming a thing of the past.
In just a few words, Zapya is a multi-platform piece of software that allows you to transfer files between multiple devices using the wireless technologies and it comes with bespoke clients for two of the most famous desktop platforms, namely Windows and macOS, as well as for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone.
User-friendly Windows app that helps you transfer files between your devices without the need for cables.
The Windows version of the app is called Zapya PC, and it basically provides you with a simple interface and a functional environment for sending and receiving files to and from other devices.
It does not require any authentication, and at the end of the super-straightforward installation process, you are automatically provided with two QR Codes which if scanned with your mobile devices should automatically open their equivalent mobile counterparts in their rightful stores.
Simplistic approach, fool-proof workflow
Once launched, the app starts off by automatically scanning for any device connected to the same hotspot. The connection process, as well as the one for transferring files, is as straightforward as they get. Basically, to transfer files, you solely need to drag and drop them from their location onto the app’s UI, and the whole process unfolds by itself (too bad there aren’t that many visual cues or feedback regarding the course of transfer)
The application also keeps a record of all the transferred files (photos, videos, music, films, or other types of files) which you can be preview directly from its main window. Makes sure to visit the app’s Settings section if you want to change various aspects like the the default inbox path, the mobile “starting folder” path, and a few other simple options.
Run of the mill but undeniably efficient cross-platform sharing app
To sum it all up, Zapya PC alongside its mobile-based counterparts does a great job of providing you with a hassle-free way of transferring files between a wide array of devices. It does not have a particular trait that makes it shine or stand out from the crowd, but there’s no denying that it works well and it gets the job done without fuss.
