Zillya! LiveCD Description

Malicious software may render computers unbootable and in such a case a different type of tools need to be used to clean the system and attempt various repairs.

Zillya! LiveCD has been developed as a solution for accessing the data on the system and check for malicious infiltrations that could cause the issue.

Create bootable media

The application is actually an ISO file containing all the necessary tools not just for cleaning the computer of malware but also for browsing the web and the files stored locally.

Booting into the Zillya environment (Linux-based) is fast and all the user has to do is wait for the entire operation to finish and the desktop to appear. Several icons allow access to the scanning utility as well as a MBR (Master Boot Record) fixing tool and the available web browser.

Different scan options

Scanning the system for malicious software is a simple task that offers the possibility to check only the areas that are generally prone to shelter malware, such as system areas.

A more thorough verification involves looking through all the data on the computer. This job takes longer to complete but every item available on the system is checked. A third scan option enables the user to define specific locations.

During the verification procedure the program displays details about the amount of threats detected, data that has been cleaned, the speed of job and the progress made.

Boot into an alternative OS and check for malware

Despite being a tool that relies on Linux to access the data on the computer, Zillya! LiveCD is straightforward and can be used by all types of users, beginners and advanced alike.

It is equipped with the necessary tools for accessing the Internet for further clues about solving the current issue and includes an antivirus engine to look for malicious actors.
