WebCam Monitor Description
WebCam Monitor is a webcam monitoring tool that supports multiple devices, audio alerts, and email notifications. It includes an intuitive interface and handy configuration settings.
Monitoring can be enabled on motion detection or at regular time interval. For the first option you can adjust the motion sensitivity level and ask WebCam Monitor to highlight motion movements or the camera preview window border in red color.
Aside from recording a video to file with low, medium, high or very high quality (WMV format), you can take screenshots at a specific time range, configure email notification settings and include messages, upload media files via FTP, activate audio alarms (only preset sounds), as well as trigger a program to launch (script or EXE file).
In addition, you can hide WebCam Monitor, view log details, start broadcasting and see who is viewing, schedule a one-time or recurring recording session, change the default directory for saved images and video, as well as establish a key combination to toggle between normal and hidden mode.
The application uses moderate memory and low CPU, has a good reaction speed and works well. We haven’t come across any issues in our tests, since WebCam Monitor did not hang or crash. The program is intuitive enough to be learned even by people with no experience in such software.
