Vocabulary .NET Description

Vocabulary .NET is a software application designed to help you learn, practice, and test your vocabulary skills for multiple languages.

The program uses the Google dictionary and Google Text-To-Speech feature and lets you select the source and target languages.

Since this is a portable program, it is important to mention that it doesn’t leave any traces in the Windows Registry.

You can copy it on any USB flash drive or other devices, and take it with you whenever you need to learn new words for various languages on the fly, without having to go through installation steps.

Vocabulary .NET sports a clean and straightforward layout that allows you to perform most operations with minimum effort.

The program gives you the possibility to hear how the words are pronounced, view their translated version and pictures, start or stop the reading mode, go to the previous or next word, as well as make the utility pronounce words randomly.

What’s more, you can test your skills by providing the correct word translation, show hints, and reset the information with just one click. Additionally, you can make the utility remain on top of other programs, and this proves to be pretty useful especially when working with multiple tools at the same time.

During our testing we have noticed that Vocabulary .NET carries out a task very quickly. It remains light on system resources, so it doesn’t burden the overall performance of the computer, nor interfere with other programs’ functionality.

To sum things up, Vocabulary .NET offers a handy set of parameters and an intuitive layout, and is suitable for all types of users, regardless of their experience level.
