With busy schedules comes the ever increasing need for more organizational tools to help us manage those hectic schedules. Vinade Reminder allows users to create personalized messages and alerts via their desktop, as well as SMS and email.
A very easy to use application
The application is very straightforward and users can begin creating alerts almost instantly. The option to add custom MP3 files to the alert noises is a welcomed addition and one that offers the application more depth. The repeat function is useful as well, however it is slightly limited, with only four different options available and no biweekly option or an option for irregular intervals.
The reminder creation wizard takes moments to use though and a wide range of different alerts can be set up in little to no time, they are limited to messages though. Unfortunately, the program cannot open other applications or perform advanced tasks when the alert begins, which means a form of text alert is its maximum potential.

The application’s best feature is its ability to link up to an email address and mobile phone to alert users with either an email, a call or both. This takes Vinade Reminder past conventional desktop alert systems and gives it a use away from the computer.
There are more features it could have had though and without options such as volume control or greater scheduling ability, it feels quite basic at times.
