USB Flash Security# can protect data stored on removable devices by assigning a password to your USB drive, so as to prevent information theft and unauthorized access to your private files.
This comes in handy to any user who uses flash drives as a backup or a file transfer method, adding an extra layer of protection to all data.
Password-protect removable drives
All the connected USB devices are automatically detected and the application displays detailed information about each one in separate tabs. It recognizes the device model, the total storage capacity and free space, the file system type, the vendor and the product ID and the serial number.
USB Flash Security# can be easily deployed on each of your removable devices, transforming them into protected vaults and placing all data behind a password. By default, it protects the entire drive, but you can also customize the size of the protected area.
Encrypt drive contents
When unplugged from the host PC, a drive protected by USB Flash Security# is automatically locked. In order to access it, the user-defined password must be provided. Otherwise, the device is automatically locked.
Not only that the drive content becomes password-protected, but all the data is encrypted using the AES algorithm.
USB Flash Security# provides additional functions, enabling you to format removable drives and perform data recoveries. The FAT32, NTFS, exFAT file systems are supported.
