UKS Virtual Drive Description

UKS Virtual Drive is a simple to use application dedicated to creating new virtual drives on your computer, within seconds. The program is suitable for users who wish to quickly access and manage the contents of any folder on their PC. You may link any directory to the new virtual drive you create.

Two-step virtual drive creation process

UKS Virtual Drive features a friendly interface, it is lightweight and quick in creating the virtual disk you need. The process features two steps, namely selecting the drive letter and the folder you wish to map to the new virtual disk. Simply click the “Create” button and wait for the confirmation message.

You may repeat the process, in order to create as many virtual drives as you wish, limited by the available shortcut letters. The program prompts you to save the settings in a script file, which you may run at a later time.

Create virtual drives by running scripts

Each time you create a new virtual disk, UKS Virtual Drive prompts you to save the steps of the process in a script file. The program recommends that you accept saving the script in a local file, so you may easily create your virtual disk again at a later time.

All partitions created with UKS Virtual Drive are automatically erased the moment you shut your system down or reboot it. For this reason, you need to open the program at every startup or just run the script you previously saved.

Quickly generate virtual drives

UKS Virtual Drive allows you to generate several virtual partitions, linked to actual folders on your computer. Whether you wish to encrypt them or simply create a shortcut for a directory, this program comes in handy. However, it may encounter difficulties when mapping a folder from the system partition and it does not display the shortcut in the tree view from Windows Explorer.
