TreeSheets Description
TreeSheets is a small and practical application that can be used instead of spreadsheet tools, mind mappers, outliners, personal information managers, text editors and small database utilities.
Well-organized interface
It provides a clean and intuitive layout, with focused details on editing and formatting items. It’s suitable for organizing data, such as to-do lists and calendars, in addition to managing projects, brainstorming and organizing ideas, as well as planning.
Create and edit grids
In order to create a grid you have to input the number of rows and columns. To enter data, simply click inside a cell and start typing (a thinner border indicates that you are in text edit mode).
To insert more items at a particular location, you need to write something to display the new content between the cells. Similarly, you can delete rows or columns by selecting a grid line again.
Furthermore, the tool offers a large variety of editing features, such as selecting one or more objects, reorganizing the grid, rendering the layout style, as well as increasing or decreasing the text and grid size. Once finished, the project can be exported to XML, HTML, TXT and CVS format, as well as later imported to make modifications (if any).
Styling and adding images
To personalize your work, you can insert and resize pictures. The photo is stored as part of the file. Once loaded into a single cell, it can be copied and pasted into any number of cells within the sheet.
There are a few options available for customizing the text font and style, like applying bold, italic, typewriter, underline and strikeout effects, as well as handpicking a color and setting the size.
Conclusions
To wrap it up, TreeSheets comes in handy when you have to organize big projects, as well as to create calendars or to-do lists. It can be used to replace spreadsheet tools and text editors. In our testing, the program ran without errors and didn’t consume too many resources.
