TimeOrg Description

TimeOrg is a small software application whose purpose is to help you set up to 35 alarms with custom text notes, text-to-speech options and default or custom sound notifications.

User interface

The program does not impress in the visual department as the features are not very well organized. Plus, it looks crowded so you may need some extra time in order to get used to working with its features. Basic tips about how to set up an alarm are offered when you press on the ‘Help’ button.

You can change the looks of the tool by choosing between several colored themes directly from the main window.

Setting up alarms

TimeOrg gives you the possibility to set up a new alarm by providing details about the day, month and time (in hours and minutes) and entering a custom text message.

You can also choose the date from a built-in calendar, go to the previous or next month, set a quick alarm to wake you up in a custom number of minutes, and jump to the next or previous alarms from the list.

Furthermore, the tool lets you shut down, restart or log off the computer, activate the standby mode, open a custom file or program, force the computer to shut down, show or hide the memo notes, clear the clipboard and check out a list with the alarms programmed for the current day.

Configuration settings

TimeOrg gives you the possibility to enable the text-to-speech mode, automatically delete expired alarms or remove old alarms only after one month, opt for a preset audio notification or open a file from your computer (WAV, OGG, WMA or MP3 file format), and display popups when the alarm starts.

What’s more, you are allowed to automatically change the wallpapers (you may select a user-defined folder that stores images), automatically take screenshots and back up files, as well as run a file when your PC is idle.

Bottom line

All things considered, TimeOrg integrates a handy suite of features for helping you set up personalized alarms but it needs a facelift in order to make the entire configuration process more intuitive.
