Spartan Portable Description
Spartan Portable is a lightweight Windows application built specifically for helping you save multiple clipboard items in a clean and intuitive working environment.
Since this is the portable version of the program, it is important to mention that it doesn’t leave any traces in the Windows Registry.
You can copy it on any USB flash drive or other devices, and take it with you whenever you need to manage your clipboard content on the breeze, without having to go through installation steps.
Spartan Portable gives you the possibility to store up to twenty-five clipboard entries and automatically save an item in the yellow area. If you exceed the preset number of clipboard items, the tool discards the first entry and adds a new one.
Your clipboard entries are temporarily stored within the yellow area, and in order to save them permanently you only need to drag and drop the desired item to the white area.
Once you have saved the clips in the white area, you are allowed to sort them in an alphabetical order, rename or highlight them, and encrypt them.
What’s more, you can preview the content of each clipboard entry by simply hovering the mouse cursor over its area, and use the built-in text editor that lets you customize the text in terms of font, font style, color, and size, print data, undo or redo your actions, remove all capital letters, spaces from the start of lines, and marks from email messages, and capitalize the first letter of each word.
Other notable characteristics worth mentioning are represented by the possibility to customize your graphic clips or screenshots (by drawing lines and curves, embedding text messages and cliparts), and import images from the computer that can stored as clipboard entries. Plus, you are allowed to rotate and crop the photos, correct red-eye areas, adjust the levels of brightness and contrast, and add a black or white background.
Last but not least, the tool lets you assign hotkeys for clips, turn on or off the capturing mode, access a basic-featured year planner where you can edit, delete, or highlight entries, prevent Spartan Portable from saving the Windows clipboard history, use macro clips, and backup data.
