SoftDisc is a lightweight Windows application designed to help users create and edit ISO images.
It boasts a clean and straightforward interface that gives you the possibility to perform most operation with just a few clicks.
You can create ISO images by selecting the CD-ROM drive and specifying the name of the ISO file. What’s more, the program offers time estimation details for completing the task.
Plus, you can perform conversion operations when it comes to changing CD image files to ISO, BIN, NRG, or IMG file format.
Other important options worth mentioning enable users to organize large CD/DVD images in different categories (e.g. software, games, audio CDs, DVD movies), burn CD/DVD image files, and operate on up to four VCD devices.
SoftDisc features CD/DVD emulating options for helping users install software or play games without the original compact disc, edit CD and DVD images, as well as “drag and drop” support.
Last but not least, it is possible to set the number of devices, make the program mount the selected image at Windows startup, choose between different simulation modes (SafeDisc, SecuRom, LaserLock, RMPS) for helping users play protected games, and add external ISO editor.
During our testing we have noticed that the tool carries out a task quickly and without errors throughout the entire process.
All in all, SoftDisc provides an intuitive layout and a handy set of dedicated parameters for helping users create ISO files with ease. Tanks to its straightforward approach, it can be mastered by beginners and professionals alike.
