SentiSculpt SDK Description

SentiSculpt SDK is a reliable tool for application developers, which allows them to generate 3D models, based on 2D pictures.

The technology is compatible with several programming languages, including C, C++, C# and Visual Basic .NET.

Real models can be automatically reconstructed inside applications, using a large set of photos of the real object. The process requires a complete set of images, snapshots that cover every side of the object at different angles.

No special camera is required, even photos taken with the mobile phone are supported. There are, however, certain specifications regarding the angles and picture quality that are required, in order to obtain suitable results.

For example, you should avoid using blurred photos, disable the flash, in order to eliminate reflections, maintain a constant light and focal length.

Moreover, a larger number of photos can improve the model’s quality. The tool’s documentation includes a detailed record of these specifications.

The SentiSculpt SDK technology is created for fast object reconstruction and can be used with several development environments.

The resulting models can be used with several applications, such as video games, CAD programs, 3D printing and more.

The images are used in the digital reconstruction process, from the first to the last steps. The tool creates a point cloud, which is used to generate a mesh, a wireframe for the final model.

The texture is recreated based on the pictures you loaded and applied to the wireframe, for realism. The model thus created can be saved in several formats, compatible with 3D graphic applications or CAD programs.

SentiSculpt SDK comes in a development pack along with a comprehensive device manager library, which provides users with flexibility and control over the SDK functions.

The tool can automate the object reconstruction, which can be problematic in case of transparent objects, shiny surfaces or plain textures.
