SecuritySoftView Description

SecuritySoftView is designed to list currently installed Internet protection applications (Antivirus, Antispyware and Firewall) that are recognized by the Windows Security Center.

A user interface designed for efficiency

The application features a very clean interface, and each entry is represented by a separate row. Columns are used to list various application details, ranging from the type of program (Antivirus, Antispyware or Firewall), status (up to date or not) to product and company names.

The information is automatically loaded when SecuritySoftView initializes, but users have the option of refreshing the list. This can be especially useful after program updates.

Archives can be created in TXT or HTML format

The application allows users to export information to TXT format and HTML reports can also be generated. One interesting feature is that users are allowed to select which entries are exported.

This can be quite handy when problems are identified with just one Internet protection utility. Exporting information is also useful when quick dissemination is required (when contacting support, for example).

Customizing the display for better results

Given the fact that modern systems can house multiple antiviruses, antispyware and firewall programs, SecuritySoftView allows users to remove grid lines and mark odd or even lines. When dealing with numerous entries, these functions can really speed things up.

Alternatively, users can remove certain columns, in order to focus on just certain aspects. For example, one could configure the program to display just the type of software (i.e. Antivirus, Antispyware or Firewall) and its status (updated or not).

All these functions are geared towards delivering a clean interface to users, without sacrificing too much information.

All in all, a good Internet protection monitor

SecuritySoftView is useful for a very simple reason: with just one click, users can check if all their Internet protection is up to date.
