RouteConverter is a lightweight Windows application designed to help you view, convert, and edit routes, waypoints and tracks.
Since this is a portable program, it is important to mention that it doesn’t leave any traces in the Windows Registry. You can copy it on any USB flash drive or other devices, and take it with you whenever you to need to convert GPS data on the breeze.
RouteConverter sports a clean and straightforward layout that offers quick access to Google map, which allows you to zoom in or out, insert or delete waypoints, and select from different viewing methods (e.g. satellite, hike, cycle).
What’s more, the application lets you perform basic editing operations (e.g. cut, copy, paste, delete), undo your actions, perform searches for finding a location, and split or merge waypoints.
Other important features worth mentioning are represented by the possibility to select the measurement unit and coordinates’ format, pick the timezone, and print or export the generated data to GPX, TRK, CSV, KML, TRK, KRT, or plain text file. What’s more, the information can be imported from the same file formats as mentioned before.
