Resonic Description

Resonic is a compact software application that allows users to play audio files in a clean and intuitive environment.

It offers quick access to the files and folders stored in your computer, so you can easily select the one to be played.

Additionally, it offers support for “drag and drop” operations and automatically displays the file location of the audio file that has been added into the main window.

Resonic gives you the possibility to play the audio streams from videos files, play, pause, or stop the current audio selection, go to the previous or next track, activate the loop mode, play an audio section on repeat, and shuffle the songs.

What’s more, you are allowed to adjust the volume, view a spectrum analyser or waveform, perform file management operations (copy, cut, send the items to the Recycle Bin), and open the directory where the song is stored directly from main window.

Other notable characteristics worth mentioning enable you to create bookmarks, use hotkeys for a better control over the entire process, as well as view details about each audio file, such as filename, size, artist, title, year, length, and modified date.

During our testing we have noticed that Resonic carries out a task quickly, provides very good sound quality, and no errors showed up throughout the entire process. It doesn’t eat up a lot of CPU and memory, so the overall performance of the computer is not burdened.

As a conclusion, Resonic seems to be the right choice in case you are looking for an easy-to-use audio player that offers only a few dedicated parameters to tinker with.
