RedNotebook is a straightforward software application designed to help you write down important notes and ideas in a clean working environment.
The user interface is simple and offers quick access to a built-in calendar. The program gives you the possibility to add text messages for each day of the week, and you can copy, cut, paste or delete the selected text.
Furthermore, RedNotebook allows you to insert images, files, links, bullet lists, titles, lines, date and time stamps, line breaks, as well as create tags. With a simple click on any date from the calendar, you can view the embedded information.
You can perform searches throughout the entire database, so you can quickly find a journal entry in the list, enable the spell checking feature, switch to a full screen mode, and pick a default font size.
The application comes packed with several templates for helping you define a journal entry more easily (e.g. journeys, meetings), and you can create new ones as well. What’s more, you can backup the notes to an archived file.
The journals can be saved to HTML, PDF, LaTeX or a plain text file, or copied to the Clipboard. It is possible to select the information to be exported from the database.
