Quick Batch File Compiler Description

Quick Batch File Compiler is a program that allows you to easily convert BAT and CMD files into the EXE format.

The interface of the tool consists of a plain window in which you can add files by using the file browser (the “drag and drop” method is not supported).

Thus, you can compile the file as an executable via the “Project” menu, cut, copy, paste and delete text, as well as use the “Undo” and “Redo” functions.

In the main window you have three tabs – “Source”, “Version Info” and “Embedded Files”. The first one allows you to edit the text, while version information can be included into the executable (company and product name, file description, legal copyrights and trademarks, original file name, comments, product and file version, internal name).

In the “Embedded Files” area, you can assign a particular icon from other applications and you can also include additional files into the final executable file.

In the “Options” menu, you can configure the output executable type (console or ghost application), output file name (e.g. enable to use the same name and location as the original file, disable the option to show splash on startup) and editor font.

The tool uses a low-to-moderate amount of system CPU and memory, comes with a step-by-step tutorial and compiles an EXE file in a very short amount of time.

We haven’t come across any problems during our tests and strongly recommend Quick Batch File Compiler to all users.
