QMSys Threads, Gauges and Calibration Management is a complex and reliable software solution aimed at engineers who work with various threaded products, gauges and other similar tools.
The program features a simple and uneventful installation process, requiring very little knowledge in working with computer. The main window of QMSys Threads, Gauges and Calibration Management features a rather cluttered interface.
In the upper side of the application, users can select the targeted ‘Workpiece’ and the ‘Gauges’ from the available models, corresponding to international standards. After choose these items, users can set up various ‘Basic Parameters’.
The several tabs allow users to quickly switch between the functions they want to work with, for instance ‘Workpiece’, ‘Threading Tools’, ‘Working Gauges’, ‘Setting Gauges’ or ‘Checking Gauges’.
In the ‘Add Parameters’ section, users can input the ‘Length of Engagment’ as S, N or L, enter the ‘Pitch Diameter’ and the ‘Major Diameter’, the ‘Surface Finishing’ with the ‘Min’ and ‘Max’ values, as well as the ‘Gauge Plating’ values.
After having customize the parameters of QMSys Threads, Gauges and Calibration Management, users can get an overview of the ‘Workpiece’, listing its ‘Basic Profile’, ‘Limit Sizes’ or ‘Mean Sizes and Bilateral Symmetrical Tolerances’.
The ‘Threading Tools’ section allows users to select the required ‘Standard’, the ‘Type of Tap’ and the ‘Tolerance Class’ from the corresponding drop-down menus, which will also generate a visual representation on the right side of the window and list the values for the ‘Forming Tap’.
The ‘Working Gauges’, ‘Setting Gauges’ and ‘Checking Gauges’ enumerate the various values for the ‘Pitch Diameter’, ‘Flank Angle and Profile’ and other elements corresponding to different types of gauges.
