Process Closer Description

Running processes on your computer can be easily stopped using the ‘Task Manager’, but sometimes they simply refuse to close. Fortunately, there are applications that can help you try to forcefully terminate a program and one of them is suggestively named Process Closer.

Close a process from the system tray

Upon launch, Process Closer is automatically sent to the system tray, in an attempt to avoid interfering with your work. You can easily access its configuration options using the right-click menu.

In order to terminate a process, you can use the designated key combination or simply left-click on the tray icon. A small window pops up, showing you instructions on how to point the desired process.

Using Process Closer is easy, as you have to hold the right mouse button, drag and release the cursor on top of the window you want closed. A confirmation window is displayed to prevent accidental process termination, but you can also configure the program to skip confirmation.

Detects non-responsive processes

By default, Process Closer is configured to forcefully terminate a process, but you can also instruct it to kill all the processes that have the same name or child processes.

One important advantage is that Process Closer can automatically identify non-responsive applications, scanning all the active processes at a user-defined time interval. This way, you can detect what causes your computer to freeze and immediately terminate the process.

Forcefully end running tasks

Aiming to ease the work of all computer users, Process Closer comes in handy for situations when a process cannot be closed using standard methods. Thanks to the intuitive options and the ease of access, it surely can prove useful to anyone.
