In the eventuality that you are working in a medical lab, automotive or in the entertainment industry, then there is a good chance that you are aware of the importance of radio-frequency shielding. Not only does the procedure prevent the interference from RF-waves from entering or leaving the testing or processing room, but it also has the role of ensuring the equipment used provides reliable, non-scrambled data.
ProbeView is a piece of software that enables you to simulate the probe collecting data in a simple test environment. The application is especially designed for the health industry and hence, it provides safety professionals, hygienists and EMF consultants with a simple method for collecting, viewing and analyzing relevant data about the RF interference in the working environment.
The utility supports the Holaday probes and, since you can establish the connection easily via a RS-232 communication port, it makes it easy for you to gather data on a continual basis directly from the field sensor.
While the test environment is rather simple, ProbeView allows you to edit a few parameters for your simulation, namely the range, temperature units and the interval the signal should refresh. The utility accepts connections from comm ports, but can also communicate via different frequencies.
