PosterGenius Description
PosterGenius is a software application whose purpose is to help users create scientific posters.
It sports a clean and intuitive layout that offers quick access to a set of well-organized functions. Plus, it offers support for a step-by-step approach, so even rookies can learn to set up the dedicated parameters with minimum effort.
The program gives you the possibility to configure the poster dimension and pick the desired category (Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, or Educational), subcategory (e.g. Immunology, Cardiology, Geology, Health, Neurology, Radiology, and Surgery) and year.
What’s more, you are allowed to add title, subtitle, authors, and affiliations, define the sections of your poster (e.g. Introduction, Objectives, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusions), as well as select a template from a preset list (e.g. Art, Abstract, Engineering, Nature, Science).
Other notable characteristics worth mentioning are represented by the possibility to preview the posters, perform search operations, zoom in or out, go to the previous or next page, and rotate the poster to different angles.
Last but not least, you can customize the text in terms of size, alignment, color, and line spacing, add a background image (e.g. JPG, GIF, PNG, BMP) and adjust its opacity, undo or redo your actions, use hotkeys for a better control over the entire process, switch to a full screen mode, and print or export the poster to PDF or PGX file format.
During our testing we have noticed that PosterGenius carries out a task quickly, provides very good image quality, and no errors showed up throughout the entire process. It is quite friendly with system resources, so the overall performance of the computer is not burdened.
All in all, PosterGenius proves to be a reliable application that comprises a handy set of tools, and is suitable for all types of users, regardless of their experience level.
