1. Download & Install

2. Extract Files

  • Right-click an archive file (e.g., .zip, .rar) and select “PeaZip > Extract Here” or open PeaZip and drag files inside.
  • Choose extraction path and confirm.

3. Create an Archive

  • Open PeaZip.
  • Select files/folders you want to compress.
  • Click “Add”.
  • Choose archive format (7z, zip, tar, etc.).
  • Set compression level, encryption password if desired.
  • Click OK to create.

4. Encrypt an Archive

  • When creating an archive, check “Encrypt”.
  • Choose encryption algorithm (AES-256 recommended).
  • Enter and confirm password.

5. Split and Join Files

  • Use the Split tool to break large files into parts.
  • Use the Join tool to recombine parts.
