OpenLP Description
OpenLP is an application designed to display slides containing songs, Bible verses, images, videos and even PowerPoint or OpenOffice presentations during church service using a projector or a large screen. Open Lyrics Projection, or OpenLP was created to enhance the capabilities of the worship leader to connect with his audience.
The application allows you to use two monitors. On one, you can prepare and preview the content of the broadcast and on the other you can display the presentation.
The database is easy to manage and is separated into categories such as “Songs”, “Bibles”, “Presentations”, “Images”, “Media” and “Custom Slides”. To each of these categories you can add custom material and enhance the database.
Accessing the Songs section, you are allowed to edit the contents of the verses to personalize them for various events. Viewing the material is an easy task. All you have to do is move the content to the “Service Manager” and click the text you want to display and the application immediately broadcasts it. You can then easily navigate through the content using the keyboard.
OpenLP allows you to create complex presentations that include audio, images and video which you can use to deliver your message as clear as possible. Another feature of the broadcaster is that you can use it to display announcements in the church or other various locations where this service is needed.
