@Note2 Description

@Note2 is a comprehensive instrument that meets the requirements of multiple categories of scientists, journalists, professors and database designers. It serves as a workbench for those who wish to mine, organize and analyze scientific text.

Professional tools

@Note2 provides you with complex approaches to automatic extraction and management of scientific literature, journals, reviews and technical reports. It consists of an extensive knowledge database with powerful plug-ins, for text harnessing, information extracting and data compiling.

The Publication manager can store technical literature pieces, such as journals, articles, essays, reports, reviews or scientific magazines. Each publication is assigned an ID and several key words that can serve in initiating queries.

The Corpora module represents an instrument capable of defining central data-types and deals with information extraction processes. It allows you to import data-types from the clipboard and view them as a collection of specific corpuses, to which you can assign names and properties columns.

A corpus is a series of documents that can be appended with IEProcesses entities.

Specific lexicon

The application can store technical dictionaries for you to consult, annotate or modify, generally designed to help you in your work. You can easily create corpuses and NER schemas, for studies in chemistry or biology. Moreover, use the merging function to compile the data you have gathered and information you have learned, into a comprehensive document.

Also, you can keep a record of the activities performed in one session, thanks to the history log and view statistical data concerning operations, queries and corpuses.

Conclusion

@Note2 is designed to work as an information retrieval and data extraction tool and to provide useful instruments suited for interdisciplinary studies. The application is designed for curation of technical texts, research and workbench management. In other words, one software can compile information from different science domains, as well as bring together scientists, text miners and database developers.
