NodeMind Description

NodeMind is a simple to use application, dedicated to creating mindmaps and saving them as presentations. Translate your ideas and plans into a visual logical representation, which you may view and edit with ease. Moreover, the program allows you to attach various files to each node or connection.

Create nodes with double clicks

NodeMind allows you to generate structures, named books, in which to create multiple maps, each with its own network of ideas, connections, attached files and notes. The program features two modes: Info, which allows you to quickly edit the displayed map and Read-only, which is strictly for presentations.

You may toggle the Info and Read-only modes by pressing Ctrl+I or Ctrl+R hotkeys. Moreover, you can enable or disable the grid, if you wish to edit the mindmap, respectively if you wish to wish to view it in a presentation. The tool in the lower left corner allows you to zoom in or out on the map, in order to get an overview or a detailed look.

Mindmap editor and password protection

The Info mode allows you to edit the nodes as easily as clicking on them. You may hold down the mouse button in order to drag the node to a new location, right-click in order to draw a connection line or double click to open the Properties window.

The Properties window allows you to change notes, node capture, button, add images, attach files and hyperlinks or link node to a different map. The Screenshot function allows you to export the current map view as an image file, in .JPG format or print it.

LiveTree and settings

NodeMind features the LiveTree function which allows you to view a decision making synthesis, based on the current map. The tool analyzes input, inherent and output parameters, in time or probability, depending on the data you provided in the mindmap. You may easily control all the files attached to one map, its name, author and description, from the Settings window.
