MITCalc – Shaft connection was developed as a small Excel add-in that can help you with geometric designs and strength checks of any shaped connection of shafts with hubs.
MITCalc – Shaft connection is an Excel-based software that comes with support for Imperial and Metric units.
The software manages to solve the following tasks:

· Design of a connection with Woodruff’s keys
· Design of a connection with straight-sided splines
· Design of a connection with involute splines
· Strength check of designed couplings
