MelodicFlow is a plugin dedicated designed to help you create and play baselines, arpeggios and tracks fast and smooth via your favorite MIDI device.
Quick setup and straightforward configuration
Considering that this is a plugin for VST, you should download the VSTHost on your computer and add the DLL file in the dedicated VstPlugins folder. Afterwards, you can enable it by accessing the Plugin options from the File menu. On a side note, the tool works with other DAWs and you can consult their manuals to determine how you can enable them.
In the eventuality that you want to use the addon for a track that you already created, then you are required to connect VST to a synthesizer of a MIDI instrument that you are using. It is important to note that the utility does not generate any sound or note itself and hence, you need to play the chords you mapped on another instrument in order to hear the results.
Permits you to create the chord, scales and melodies
The idea behind the plugin is to provide you with an easy way to write down your chords and advanced users, can even create a master chord track that pushes all the notes to various samples. In case you need to change them later on, then you should know that the tool allows you to make only the modifications you need without having to re-write the whole thing.
In addition to chords, the utility enables you to put down the scale notes of your track and jam around or create any notes that you think might be useful for your melodies. You can create copies of your chord notes and enhance the ones that you like how it sounds by analyzing them against the scale notes. If you are fond of the new melodic rhythm you found, then you can easily copy it to your new track.
A useful application for music studio production
Regardless of whether you just want to jam around, but seem to be picking the wrong notes most of the times or perhaps, you want to arrange the chords for your next track, MelodicFlow could come in handy.
