Kuletu Description
Kuletu is a simple to use application that allows you to create various musical composition, with the digital piano and a large variety of sound effects. The application allows you to create several sound layers, in which to include the parts for each musical instrument, then play them together or individually.
Cross-over application for creating musical scores
Kuletu can successfully be used on desktops, but it is also optimized for Windows tablets. The application allows you to create musical compositions with the help of the integrated digital piano, as well as the sound effects you can apply to the notes.
The program comes with a large collection of instruments effects, as well as other sounds, such as choirs, synth, bird tweet, sci-fi, applause or echo. You may easily select one or several of these effects, in order to simulate various musical instruments, then record the notes on separate layers.
The column on the left allows you to access the program’s functions, as well as the layers you created or transferred from one category to another.
Categories, recording and music composition
Kuletu allows you to choose the sound effects by clicking on the Instruments tab; you may select piano, percussion, organ, guitar, bass, strings, brass, reed, pipe or synth effects. Use the additional commands at the right lower corner in order to add the selected effects to your own list, then choose their priority.
You can easily change the main effect, for each layer you create, in order to simulate an orchestra/band ensemble. Playing clips is where you may record the musical parts and rename them.
Jigsaw clips manager
Kuletu offers you several methods for recording a musical part: by clicking on the digital piano keys or by adding measures to the Jigsaw clips. Use the right click to add the desired sound effect and the right click to set the measure: ½ up to ⅛ are supported. You may control the volume using the designated button.
