The Intel Solid-State Drive Toolbox (also known as Intel SSD Toolbox) was a software utility for managing and optimizing Intel SSDs. However, Intel has discontinued the Intel SSD Toolbox and replaced it with a newer tool: Intel Memory and Storage Tool (GUI and CLI versions).

- If a newer firmware version is available, the toolbox can download and install it.

- Sends the TRIM command to the SSD manually, which helps maintain performance by cleaning up unused data blocks.
- Run this periodically if your OS doesn’t automatically do it (modern Windows does this automatically).
