Img Converter Description
Image Converter is a simple-to-use image conversion application that has a unique function. It is able to convert the same photo to many other formats at the same time, featuring support for IMG, GIF, JPG, PNG, XPM, BMP, TGA and PSD formats, among others.
Quick setup and simple interface
The installation procedure is rapid and does not require special attention. Its interface is user-friendly, based on a small window with a plain structure.
Configure conversion settings
Apart from handpicking the exact output image formats and directory, users can set the program to exit, open the output directory, or to create a log file with conversion information and launch it on task completion.
Images can be easily converted by simply dropping them in the main frame while navigating the hard disk using Windows Explorer. Batch processing is supported, which means that you can convert multiple photos to multiple other formats at once, but this is only available in the registered version. In addition, you can change the UI theme and language.
Evaluation and conclusion
CPU and RAM consumption was minimal during our evaluation, and the tool did not hang, crash or pop up error dialogs; we have not come across any stability issues. All in all, Image Converter gets the job done and can be easily handled by anyone.
