iBackup Extractor is an efficient application designed to help you extract the relevant information from the backups you made to your iPhone, iPad or iPod. Aside from the manual backups you perform, iTunes also does this automatically when you connect and sync your device.
The program automatically detects the existing backup files on your computer and allows you to select the one you want to work with.
After analyzing the data from your backup, iBackup Extractor enables you to view the recovered contents and select which items you want to export. These items include your ‘Contacts’, ‘Call Logs’, ‘Calendar’ events and notifications or ‘Images’ captured with the device’s camera.
Additionally, the application can extract information concerning your Internet browsing history – including bookmarks, the exchanged text and multimedia messages, voice mails or even ‘Notes’.
The retrieved ‘Contacts’ will be exported to vCard format, which can then be read by most e-mail clients including Outlook. You can even import such files in your ‘Windows Address Book’ section or your Yahoo! Address Book.
All found ‘Notes’ can be exported to TXT format files, enabling you to easily read them right from your computer. Similarly, the ‘Images’ recovered by iBackup Extractor can be exported to a preferred location on your PC, in JPEG format and they preserve their original quality.
iBackup Extractor can display a list of all your phone records, allowing you to extract preferred ‘Call Logs’ to a HTML file and keep the records of all your conversations, including information about the name or number of the partner, as well as the call date and duration.
