IAW Scan 2 Description
IAW Scan 2 is a lightweight software solution for shops or those who want to run a full diagnosis for Magneti-Marelli IAW-6F/8F/16F/18F/18FD ECU based cars. With this tool you can extract data about small FIAT engines and view it in a comprehensive form.
Straightforward interface
The only challenge that you will probably have to face before you get to extract data using IAW Scan 2 is connecting your car and computer as the application itself is a cinch to use. With a correctly wired connection between the two, you run the application, choose the ECU system, COM port and then simply click the ‘Connect’ button.
After turning on the ignition for the vehicle, IAW Scan 2 provides a multi tabbed main window from where you can view parameters, errors, run tests and generate performance graphs.
The application is designed to be intuitive and presents the all the information it gathers in a manner that is easy to understand and read by anyone, mechanic or not.
View a wide range of data
When you have established a successful connection, the application displays parameters such as injection duration and advance, air and water temperatures, engine speed, throttle operating angle, battery voltage, trimmer position and much more.
IAW Scan 2 doesn’t make this information available right away, you do have to manually select the parameters to which you want it to grab data and some is only visible after you rev the engine a bit.
IAW Scan 2 also enables you to run a few basic tests for the fuel pump, injectors, coils, EVAP valve, REV meter, AC relay, MIL lamp and others. Each test is manually started and you get the failed or passed result in a matter of seconds.
