gPhotoShow Free is a lightweight software program built specifically for helping users create screensavers from their favorite image files.
Once you have installed the application, this tool becomes accessible from the Windows screensaver menu, thus allowing you to set it as the default screensaver and change various settings. The user interface is really simple and offers several dedicated parameters to tinker with.
gPhotoShow Free gives you the possibility to add multiple folders which contain images, set the delay time between photos, and specify the transition speed.
What’s more, you can make the utility display images randomly, embed transitions, enlarge small pictures to fit the screen size, and show or hide file information, such as filename, date, creation date, and others.
Other notable characteristics worth mentioning are represented by the possibility to change the text and background color, exit the screen saver on a mouse click or movement, or when a key is pressed, pause or restart the slideshow, and go back to the previous image.
