Googlifier Description

One of the most important laws of physics clearly states that any animate or inanimate object can be improved with the application of googly eyes. Now that we’ve cleared that up, go ahead and download this Chrome extension, as nothing else needs to be said.

Very well, I suppose I can spare a few more words. If you must know, Googlifier is a pretty nifty piece of software that can detect faces in pictures on the web, and then make them a lot better by sticking googly eyes on them.

No one is safe from the unstoppable googly eyes

Googlifier can be found in the Chrome toolbar, eagerly awaiting its next victim. Any image in the current browser tab can be scanned and enhanced, provided there is at least semi-recognizable face in it.

I am sad to say that only human faces are supported, as even after repeated attempts, I was not able to stick googly eyes on any cats, bunnies or other cute animals. As difficult as it may be, this is a limitation you will simply have to live with.

Make the world a better place, one googly-eyed dictator at a time

Once you have loaded one or more photos in your browser, you just need to click the extension’s icon in the Chrome toolbar. All the images will be modified fairly quickly, although larger pictures will take a bit longer to process.

Of course, you will not be able to stick googly eyes on every photo you come across, but I was still impressed with Googlifier’s capabilities. As long as the photo isn’t horribly out of focus, there is a good chance the extension will make even the most ruthless dictator’s portrait a lot more satisfactory.

Pick your favorite unlikable person and start googly-eyeing them!

While I may be particularly fond of unpopular world leaders, you can have fun with pretty much any photo you find on the web: Facebook friends, historical figures, famous actors, and the list goes on.

After googly eyes have been applied successfully, you can save the newly-improved photo locally just like any other image on the web.

If you are not yet convinced, go ahead and install this extension anyway. It is impossible not to get at least a few laughs out of Googlifier, and you can have a lot of fun sharing your creations with friends.
