🧭 What Is Google Drive?

Google Drive is a free cloud storage service by Google that lets you:

💻 On a Computer (Web Browser)

✅ 1. Access Google Drive

Go to: https://drive.google.com
Log in with your Google account.


✅ 2. Upload Files or Folders

  • Click “New” (top-left)
    • Select “File upload” or “Folder upload”
    • Choose the file(s) or folder(s) from your computer

✅ 3. Create New Files (Docs, Sheets, etc.)

  • Click “New” > Choose Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides
  • These files auto-save as you work

✅ 4. Organize with Folders

  • Click “New” > Folder to create one
  • Drag and drop files into folders

✅ 5. Share Files

  • Right-click any file or folder > “Share”
  • Enter email addresses or get a shareable link
  • Set permissions: Viewer, Commenter, or Editor

📱 On a Mobile Device (Google Drive App)

✅ 1. Download the App

  • From Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS)
  • Open and sign in with your Google account
