If you’ve played Arma 3’s Battle Royale mod or PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS, you probably know that that lobby can get quite loud, which is an issue if you are streaming or normally keep the volume at a higher level.
GamemutE is a very simple tray application that enables you to instantly mute either of these games with a single hotkey, which is also customizable.
Specialized tool for Arma 3 and PUBG players or streamers
If it wasn’t already clear, this application is only designed to help users who play Arma 3 or PUBG, as it doesn’t support any other games or apps. Granted, it isn’t likely to be useful in many other cases, but it would still be great if it were possible to add more apps manually.
GamemutE is intended to help deal with the loud noises you often hear in lobby and while traveling on the airplane before parachuting down.
Simple but useful app that could be improved in a couple of respects
The application is minimized to the system tray upon launch, and the global shortcut will remain active while it’s running in the background. However, there is no simple way to add it to the startup list, so you’ll have to do this the old-fashioned way.
If you don’t like the default global shortcut (F1), you can change it by double-clicking the application’s system tray icon. Just set any key or key combination you prefer, but remember to minimize the app and not close it.

All in all, GamemutE is only designed to perform a simple task, and it does it well. It enables you to instantly mute these two supported games with a single hotkey, just what many players and streamers need to do in order to avoid loud noises in the lobby.
