The application offers a series of questions, organized by categories and allows you to answer them within the specified time. You can select one or several answers, based on the question.

The CDL examination, short for Commercial Driver’s License, is a test that any person must take if they wish to operate an auto vehicle in the United States. Free CDL Practice Test is a simple to use desktop application which can help you prepare yourself for the theory part of the test.

Using the application, you can answer several questions from multiple categories, all of which are included in the official test. Moreover, the software features a countdown timer, which is automatically adjusted based on the category and number of questions you select.

Exam simulation

Free CDL Practice Test allows you to select any of the question packs: air brakes (16 questions), combination vehicle (19 questions), doubles and triples endorsement (15 questions), general knowledge (52 questions), Hazmat endorsement (26 questions), Tanker Endorsement (12 questions). The question sets are not updated and cannot be changed

The answers are structured as multiple-choice, most of which have only one correct option. You can select any answer, then click the Next button in order to move on to the following question or Finish, in order to end the test. When the test is over, the software automatically generates the evaluation sheet.

End of the test assessment

Free CDL Practice Test automatically generates the assessment sheet at the end of a test, indicating the correct/wrong/not attempted questions, as well as all the right answers. It can calculate the number of correct/wrong answers and the total score. The test ends when the time runs out or when you click the Finish button.
