Considering that it is an extension, it goes without saying that you are required to have a CAD software solution installed on your computer. As the name suggests, the add-on works with AutoCAD and BricsCAD, but it can also be used with ZWCAD. You can install the add-on by following the standard steps according to the CAD application you are using.
The tool provides you with over 30 easy-to-use functions for managing DTMs, including, but not limited to triangulation, meshing, cut and fill surfaces, entities, slope arrows, waterdrop flow and cross sections, just to name a few examples. Given the extensive use of DTM models, you should bear in mind that the extension also allows you to color by altitudes and calculate areas and volumes without too much hassle.
