The user interface is plain and simple. First you have to go to the “Configuration” menu and set the output destination for downloaded files. Plus, you can set the structure of the output file name (according to author, story name, category and updated time).
You can also disable the option to delete the temporary HTML file after conversion, as well as disable paste monitoring.
So, once you have pasted an URL in the “Storylink”, you can optionally select chapters to download, choose the output format (EPUB, PDF, RTF, TXT, MOBI, HTML, LIT, FB2, LRF, OEB, PDB, PML, RB, TCR) and initiate the downloading process by pressing “Check and Download”.
In the output file, you can view the story name, story link, category, author, “last updated” date, content and source. In addition, FanFictionDownloader can read links from a text file and automatically download stories from all of them. You can also access a download history file.
