DYY Video Converter is an intuitive and easy to use program, which enables you to convert a batch of video files into other formats or into music files. The software allows you to import the video files one by one and set the individual conversion settings before adding them to the task list.
Individual conversion settings
DYY Video Converter allows you to configure several parameters for each file you add to the conversion list. In other words, the software is capable of performing several tasks in one session, each file featuring different parameters. You may convert the input files to other video formats, to MP3s or to files that are compatible with mobile devices.
The supported output formats include 3GP, ASF, AVI, MP4, FLV, MOV, MP3, MPG, OGG, WAV, WMV, sorted by the type of devices that support them. For instance, you may convert a video file in order to be compatible with a video game, with BlackBerry or iPhone. Custom properties are available for you to change, according to the type of output file you selected.
Batch file support
DYY Video Converter can manipulate a series of files at once, by turning them into the selected format. You may start or stop the conversion process at any time, then easily resume it. Each file is displayed on a separate row, along with its conversion status and several other data columns, such as output format, source/target path and elapsed time/
The software can handle all the files in successive order and by default saves them in the same location as the input files, only with a different name. The status bar at the bottom of the window indicates the state of the software.
Reliable media converter
DYY Video Converter can perform all the indicated tasks in the same session, in a short time. Moreover, it allows you to select the quality and media parameters for each file in the list, depending if the output files are audio or video. Bitrate, framerate, channel, sampling rate or codecs are just a few parameters that you can configure.
